If you already own a GloPRO® tool, the head is the part you keep buying. The tool is a one-off purchase; the MicroTip is the running cost, and it is easy to lose track of how long the current one has been on. This guide answers the two questions owners actually have: when to change it, and which head to order next.
The short answer: Nu Skin states that "GloPRO® MicroTip™ Attachment Heads should be replaced every 2-3 months with regular use." Each head is $41 at NuBodyRx, in Face, Eye or Lip. If you only keep one, make it the Face head.
How often to replace a GloPRO head
Every two to three months with regular use. That sentence appears on Nu Skin's US pages for all three heads, with no separate figure for any one of them. Two things follow from that, and neither is obvious from a product page.
- Go by the calendar. Nu Skin prints an interval, not a wear test, so we will not invent one for you. The simplest habit is to write the date on the box or set a phone reminder for ten weeks from the day you fit a new head. Ten weeks falls inside the window and leaves time for a new head to arrive.
- Count each head separately. If you own a Face head and a Lip head, they started on different dates and are on different clocks. Nu Skin gives no longer interval for the heads used once a week, so we would follow the printed line rather than guess at one.
One rule has no flexibility at all: "For individual use only, do not share MicroTips." A head that has been used by someone else is not a spare.

Reorder the same head if
Your routine is working and you simply reached the end of the interval. This is most owners, most of the time, and there is no reason to overthink it.
Add the Eye head if
The brow area is what you have been trying to reach with a larger head. Stay on the brow bone and between the brows. Nu Skin is plain about the limit: "Do not use directly on the eye or eyelid."
Add the Lip head if
Your lips are a separate concern from the rest of your face. Bear in mind it is a once-a-week head, so it adds one short step to your week rather than a new daily habit.
What a year of heads costs
Nu Skin does not set this out, so here is the arithmetic at $41 a head. It assumes you replace on schedule and use one head type.

Per use it looks rather different. A Face head used the maximum three times a week works out at roughly $1.05 to $1.52 a session across that window. An Eye or Lip head used once a week works out at roughly $3.15 to $4.56 a session, because the same $41 is spread over fewer uses. If cost per use matters to you, the head you use most is the better value.
Using a new head properly
Nu Skin's instructions are short. These are the parts owners most often ask about.
- Timing: "Use GloPRO® in the PM on clean, makeup-free skin." Nu Skin's reason: "GloPRO® is best used at night as the skin naturally rejuvenates during a normal sleep cycle."
- Pressure: none needed. "The tool is perfectly weighted, avoid using extra manual pressure." A new head does not change this.
- Afterwards: "After treatment, immediately apply your favorite serums and moisturizer." Nu Skin also advises: "Test products on a small area before applying liberally."
- Storage: "Store your GloPRO® in a clean, dry environment." And each new head helps with that: "Each replacement GloPRO® MicroTip comes with a protective clear cover for easy storage and travel." Keep the cover; it is the easiest way to tell which head is which in a drawer.
One point that catches people out
Nu Skin's general GloPRO guidance says "up to 3 times per week", and that wording appears on the Eye and Lip pages too. The first lines of those two pages, however, say "Use once weekly." We would follow the line written for the head in your hand: three times a week for Face, once a week for Eye and Lip.
Where not to use it
Nu Skin's wording: "Do not use on damaged skin or any skin irregularities including acne, open wounds, scars, raised surfaces or moles." If you have had medical treatments or injections in an area, Nu Skin says to "Always consult your dermatologist or health care professional" before using GloPRO there. If you are pregnant or nursing, it says to "always consult a physician before beginning a new skincare routine."
