Nu Skin does not permit its products to be sold on Amazon
This is not our opinion. It is Nu Skin's own published rule. Their Policies & Procedures for the United States prohibit their Brand Affiliates from reselling Nu Skin products over the internet — and specifically through online auction sites and online marketplaces — unless Nu Skin has approved it in writing.
So when a Nu Skin product appears on Amazon, it is almost always there in breach of the manufacturer's own policy, sold by an independent trading company rather than by Nu Skin. The brand name at the top of the listing is not the seller underneath it.
That has three practical consequences for you:
- The manufacturer's guarantee does not follow it. If something is wrong, your recourse is a marketplace seller, not Nu Skin.
- You cannot see how it has been stored. Supplements and active skincare are sensitive to heat. A bottle that has spent a summer in an unconditioned warehouse is not the same product as a sealed one.
- You cannot see how old it is. Expiry dates are rarely shown in a marketplace listing, and stock that reaches a reseller is often stock that did not move.
