Single strain versus multi-strain
The honest framing is that these are two different design choices rather than a right answer and a wrong one.
A multi-strain product spreads its dose across many organisms. A single-strain product puts the whole dose behind one. Which is preferable depends on what the strain is and what is known about it — and that is a question for the people who study it, not for a shop with something to sell.
