What Nu Skin says
"A delicious vanilla flavored lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free shake, using vegetarian proteins."
That is their whole description. Lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free, vegetarian proteins, vanilla. No percentage, no timeframe, and — importantly — no claim about preserving muscle while you lose fat. This page used to make that claim on their behalf. It has been removed.
Why protein is worth paying attention to
This part is general nutrition rather than a product claim. Protein is filling, it is the macronutrient most associated with holding on to muscle when you are eating less, and most people eating fewer calories end up eating less of it than they intended. A shake is a practical way to stop that happening — not because it is special, but because it is easy.
How to use it
As a meal replacement
One serving with water or an unsweetened milk. Breakfast or lunch is where it usually lands, because those are the meals people skip and then regret.
Around training
Plenty of people have it after strength training. If training is your main interest rather than meal replacement, TRMe GO Protein+ is the one Nu Skin writes for that: "Drink up to upgrade your daily workout."
As a snack
A half serving with water, when the gap between meals is longer than it should be.
What is left of the TR90 line
An honest update: as of 22 September 2026, Nu Skin's US catalogue still lists the GreenShake and the TR90 JumpStart 2pk, but TR90 Control and TR90 Fit no longer appear.
