What is LifePak Nano?

A twice-daily supplement packet system — one morning packet, one evening — combining capsules and softgels. It is designed to address the nutritional gaps that exist in even a good diet.

The “Nano” refers to the product's defining technology: nano-encapsulation, which Nu Skin describes as “mono-molecular encapsulation where single molecules of important nutrients are embedded into single nanocapsule molecules.”

What nano-encapsulation is, and why it matters

Many of the most important anti-aging nutrients — particularly fat-soluble antioxidants like CoQ10 and carotenoids such as lycopene, lutein and zeaxanthin — are poorly absorbed in standard supplement form. Their fat-soluble nature means they do not dissolve well in the watery environment of the digestive tract.

Nu Skin uses two approaches to address that. For the fat-soluble nutrients, CR-6 LipoNutrients® softgels in which, in Nu Skin's words, “they are pre-dissolved for superior bioavailability.” And nano-encapsulation — “mono-molecular encapsulation where single molecules of important nutrients are embedded into single nanocapsule molecules” — which Nu Skin says maximises the nutrient's surface area and its “contact with the lining of the gastro-intestinal tract.”

That delivery is the reason Nano costs roughly twice what the tablets do — not a longer ingredient list, but a different way of getting the same kind of nutrients in.

Is LifePak Nano worth the price?

It replaces several separate supplements — a multivitamin, an omega-3, a CoQ10 and an antioxidant complex — in one system.
