What They Have in Common
Every formula in the LifePak family provides a broad spread of essential nutrients — vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids — and all are designed for daily use. All are made under Pharmanex's 6S Quality Process, whose six published steps are Selection, Sourcing, Specification, Standardization, Safety and Substantiation. We have removed the phrase "pharmaceutical-grade" from this page: it has no regulatory meaning for supplements and it is not Nu Skin's word.
The differences between the formulas lie in the nutrient profile, the format, and who each one is built for.
The Key Difference: Nano
The single biggest distinction in the range is nanotechnology, which is Nu Skin's own word. LifePak Nano is described as "formulated with advanced levels of key nutrients and nanotechnology to help nourish and protect cells, tissues, and organs throughout the body", and its formula names nano forms of several fat-soluble nutrients — CoQ10, carotenoids and curcumin among them.
Pharmanex does explain what it means by the word: "The application of nano-technology employed by Pharmanex® is a mono-molecular encapsulation where single molecules of important nutrients are embedded into single nanocapsule molecules", and "With complete molecular dispersion, the surface area of the nutrient is maximized, as is its contact with the lining of the gastro-intestinal tract." What Nu Skin does not publish is any figure for how much more of anything is absorbed. If you have seen "three times" or "five times" attached to this product, that did not come from Nu Skin and we have removed every instance of it from this site.
LifePak Anti-Aging contains nutrients from the same categories in conventional form.
On measuring carotenoids: the current Nu Skin device for that is the Prysm iO, which uses Patent-Pending Spectral Rai Technology and a 15-second fingertip scan. The older BioPhotonic Scanner is a different, separate device — the two get conflated constantly, including on this page in the past.
Format Is the Decision Most People Are Actually Making
Almost every comparison you will read online argues about ingredient lists. In practice, the people who stop taking a supplement rarely stop because of the formula. They stop because the routine did not fit their day, or the packet count was more than they wanted to deal with, or they kept forgetting the second dose. Format is the part nobody writes about and the part that decides whether the purchase was worth anything.

Twice-daily packets suit someone with two predictable anchor points in the day, usually a morning meal and an evening meal. If you eat lunch at your desk and dinner at home, two doses are easy. If your afternoons are unpredictable, or you travel with only a carry-on, be honest with yourself about whether the second packet will actually happen.
LifePak Anti-Aging — once-daily tablets
The Anti-Aging version is supplied as tablets taken once a day and sits in the same LifePak family. The practical difference is that it asks less of your routine than a twice-daily product does, and it sits at a more accessible price point than the Nano formula. LifePak Nano — the most comprehensive end
LifePak Nano is the most comprehensive formula in the range, and the one people usually mean when they search for nano vitamins. That is the reason people choose it and also the reason people hesitate, because more comprehensive generally means more to take. If you already have a stable daily supplement habit and you want the fullest version of the LifePak idea, this is the one at that end of the range.

LifePak Elements — the simplest end

It is the sensible starting point for someone who has never taken a multi-nutrient program before, or who has tried one and quietly abandoned it. A smaller routine you keep beats a larger one you do not.
LifePak Prime — built for later life
LifePak Prime is positioned for adults in later life rather than for general adult use, and it is supplied as twice-daily packets.
We are not going to list its nutrient levels here. An earlier version of this page did, comparing specific vitamin and carotenoid amounts against the other formulas, and we could not source those figures — so they have been removed rather than corrected by guesswork. If Prime is what you are after, read the current label rather than any article.
NuBodyRx does not currently list LifePak Prime.
