The Short Answer
It depends entirely on which product, and for several of them our answer is no. We sell Nu Skin and we are still going to say that, because a page that recommends everything is worth nothing.
What follows is what each product actually claims in Nu Skin's own words, where we think the money is well spent, and where we would tell you to buy something cheaper.

What Nu Skin Genuinely Has
ageLOC. Nu Skin's framework for targeting what it calls the sources of aging through gene expression. It is a real, distinctive positioning rather than a generic anti-ageing line. What Nu Skin does not publish is a molecular mechanism, a named research partner or a study count — and this page used to claim collaboration with leading universities, which we could not source and have removed.
The device-plus-product pairing. The LumiSpa iO is sold with matched treatment cleansers and the claims belong to the pair, not the motor. That is a genuine structural difference from a standalone brush, and it is also why the device is a poor buy if you will not buy the cleansers.
Where the Money Is Well Spent
AP-24 Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste — $27.00, the best value in the range
Nu Skin's claim: "Lightens teeth without peroxide while helping to prevent cavities." Printed bullets: "Diminishes the appearance of surface stains", "Helps lighten without harsh chemicals", "Helps protect teeth and prevent cavities".
Why it earns its place: it replaces something you already buy, so the marginal cost is small. If you want to find out whether you like the brand at all, start here rather than with a device.

LifePak Nano — $237.00, if you take nothing at present
"A comprehensive nutritional anti-aging program formulated with advanced levels of key nutrients and nanotechnology to help nourish and protect cells, tissues, and organs throughout the body."
Why it earns its place: breadth. A single comprehensive multivitamin covers more ground than two or three targeted supplements bought first, which is the order most people get wrong.
The honest caveat: it is expensive for a multivitamin, and LifePak Anti-Aging is the cheaper formula in the same family at $118.00. Which LifePak is right for me?
ageLOC Tru Face Future Serum — $153.00, the most claim-backed topical
"This powerful, clinically proven formula made with 15% active ingredients to give you clinical-strength results at home, revealing visibly improved skin, eight ways in just seven days." Printed bullets include "Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles" and "Supports cell turnover in only five days."
Why it earns its place: it is the only product in the range with a manufacturer-published timeframe, and it works alongside a moisturiser you already own rather than replacing one. Those two quoted claims are Nu Skin's own, printed on its US product page — we have not stretched them and we have not softened them.

ageLOC LumiSpa iO — $241.00, conditionally
"Two minutes, twice a day is all it takes for award-winning ageLOC® LumiSpa® iO to deliver a smoother complexion, seven clinically proven skin benefits, and smart IoT technology that helps you personalize your routine."
The condition: twice a day, with the matched cleansers. If either of those is unlikely, it is the wrong purchase and we would rather you spent the money on the serum and sunscreen.

Where We Would Tell You to Be Careful
- Buying a full protocol at once. The products overlap, the claims overlap, and the predictable outcome is a cupboard of part-used bottles. One thing at a time, a month apart.
- Two devices before one habit. The LumiSpa and the RenuSpa do different jobs and both need daily or near-daily use. Prove the first habit before buying the second.
- Supplements before a multivitamin. Targeted formulas assume the basics are covered.
- Anything bought for a claim you cannot find on nuskin.com. That is the test we apply to our own writing and it works just as well on anybody else's.
The Price Question, Answered Properly
Nu Skin sits at the premium end, and no amount of quoting will change that. Three things that actually affect the arithmetic:
- Ongoing costs. The LumiSpa needs cleansers and a head every few months; the RenuSpa needs conductive gel. Price the running cost, not just the device.
- Replacement versus addition. The toothpaste and the cleansers replace things you already buy. The supplements and devices are additions. That distinction matters more to a monthly budget than the sticker price.
- The return window. 90 days, opened and used, no restocking fee — ours, not Nu Skin's, whose published US window is 30 days from the purchase date. It means a wrong choice costs you the return postage rather than the product.
The Verdict
Worth it for the toothpaste, the serum and a multivitamin if you take none. Worth it for the LumiSpa iO if — and only if — you will use it twice a day with the matched cleansers. Not worth it as a complete protocol bought in one go, whatever anybody tells you.
